BATH THROUGH THE LENS

‘Bath through the lens’ was a film photography project i created when i first received a film camera as a gift. During my first time visiting Bath I was practicing my photography skills for a University project and this was the perfect timing for me to use my new camera. I got to see the skyline of bath from Alexandra Park and Bath Abbey from right outside.
FRIENDSHIP REFLECTION

During a surf trip in Cornwall with one of my closest friend’s we took take a photo of each other on my film camera from each other perspective. I thought the sun coming into the car, would have created poor quality photos and just assumed they’d be over exposed. To my surprise when i got the film developed these images where the most beautiful and the best out of the whole lot! They captured the simplicity and happiness we was feeling and the reflection of our glasses showing each other in those reflections.
SWEET BOY

‘Sweet Boy’ is a photography series shot on a digital camera, they’re a series of photo’s taken of my partner on a trip to wales right before we embarked on a trail. He didn’t want his photo taken but I found the natural awkwardness of having his photo taken made it them much more special. These are raw and unedited.
IN THE FOREST

‘In the forest’ is a photo series taken in a forest in wales on a digital camera, i wanted to capture the beauty of the natural growth of the tree trunks, moss and fallen leafs. These photos are dark but vibrant in areas creating and interesting contrast where the sun hit. All photos are raw and unedited.
